If they owned the turf, it wouldn't have been a problem to have it in Madrid, and there would have been no need to go out and buy that sucky carpeting they used.

The MS does not own the turf, it is rented on an event by event basis.

It wasn't available for the Madrid event, apparently because they booked it too late.

Pedro said that they got a sponsor (XL Turf) that could not deliver enough XL turf because of the short notice, when the hole thing was suposed to be in Real Madrid City, therfor they did not book any turf.

That was what I heard when somebody ( you?) asked him about the XL turf, he did also say that the XL turf will be back for Paris.
