360 all the way! The games are awesome, console works better imo, granted the PS3 has a browser, and thats pretty cool... but thats the only thing i like about it...

also from a different perspective i've had close dealings with both the guys at Sony UK and the guys at Xbox UK recently... The guys at Sony are all like 45 year old blokes that talk like a classic cartoon geek and live at home with their mothers, where as the meetings we had at xbox were discussed over a 8-way game of cod 4... they say these consoles are made for the people by the people... well, shows who they are made for when you see who they are made by :p

And you say that 2007 was better? halo was the biggest thing?

*Edit - to add a game to my list before someone shoots me GTA 4
just a note, Halo 3 was the biggest media launch in history, over any game, music, film, tv show... anything...
as far as im aware, i think that record still stands

BUT

the game still got boring very quickly though!

heheh i made a phone call today to the marketing director of Xbox UK (the guy we were dealing with, im in advertising you see) and he confirmed that Halo 3 still currently holds the records, only because rockstar didnt get enough copies out there, so they sold out too quickly, and according to a quote from one of the directors of Game... you can be waiting up to two weeks if you decide you want a copy now!

The Paintball Association
(Xbox in general) For £40 a year (Thats nothing really) you are able to talk to your friends even family (I do with my uncle that lives in America) for an unlimited ammount of time any day you wish. Video chat if you want, play 95% of all games out on the 360 with anyone because there all online compatible. It is now even cross-compatible, so you can play with people on the PC.

It's all about being online now and no one does it better than the guys that created it, Microsoft.
Do people still play full price for Xbox live !!!!!!!!
If anyone would like to renew or join I will do them a year for £29 all in including Paypal fees
I will give you your number the same day :)

PS: and the people who's opinion counts are the ones who have tried both.
