If its out of warranty and you really need to have the ethernet port working - you could get it repaired by a company based in the UK?

If you don't need ethernet then I would get the wireless adapter and go wifi instead.

i currently have the ring of death for the forth time lol but i leave it for 2 days and then it works again. a self fixing xbox

ive had my xbox360 for years never had any trouble with it. looks lovly sat next to my ps3 doing nothing everytday

have you tried the wet trick?
i had problems galore with my 360 (when i had it)
wet towel trick fixed it everytime

Have any of you considered checking on teh microsoft website, they have help files covering most issues. Or you could always give teh tech team a call i always found them to be really helpful espically when mine 3 ringed

if you got the RROD fault go to this site www.security-fixings.co.uk buy the kit for about £6 & there ya go takes about an hour of your time thats all
