I suppose you COULD class scrumpy as a sort of cider (alcohol made from apples), but about 500 times more evil. Made in the traditional west country method, just a couple of pints have been known to knock out full grown men who aren't used to it.
A superb form of antifreeze for the human body, enough of this stuff and you won't notice your limbs turning to ice and dropping off in cold weather. In fact, enough of it & you won't notice anything maybe for days
