BAZ, you can't really argue the mark-up argument with regards to Planet.

At the end of the day, they did all the R&D, testing, prototyping, marketing etc - do you have any idea how much that stuff costs?

Then some cheating b***ard comes along and just steals the idea once the hard work is done.

I'm sure Planet do mark up their products and rightly so, I want to be sure all those crazy scientist type chaps up there have the money to develop the next e-blade type thingy and they won't have the chance to do that if someone steals there profits by bootlegging their ideas...

X Enterprises

If anyone reads any of the U.S forums you will see the general consensus on X Enterprises and their blatant policy of copying other peoples products.

I know that Planet got hold of one of these Xonic grip frames and took it to pieces - it is exactly the same as the eblade but using cheaper materials. As people rightly point out - who has done all the R&D and developed the product in the 1st place - Jack and Eclipse !!!

Also ask yourself what sort of back up and support you could expect from a company such as X-Enterprises - I have seen 1st hand just how much Planet back up everything they sell - there support is second to none.

So if you want to save a few pounds - then that is your decision - but don't bitch if it all goes wrong and you end up sending your marker back to the U.S !!!

Peace,

Rich

so Planet have a high mark up and then you say you have an equally expensive Evo- X, do you know anything about the two markers
Obviously not.
Think of it this way. the eclipse cockers and belsales evo-x's are both made from genuine parts. The eblade is as good as, if not better than, all the other e-frame out there and is priced accordingly.
The System X Xonik is not even a cocker as it does not use a WGP cocker body. It is nothing but a cheap imitation. If you wish to buy one the choice is yours.
The question is, is this legal?
Well no license or agreement has been sort by X and in this climate of litigation watch this space.

If the spelling on their website is anything to go by, the guns must be ****e!

I know there are people who can barely afford top end guns, but i think this company is taking advantage of that and many patents!

There is nothing illegal about competition or modifying an existing design, but there is something illegal and morally wrong about blatant copying.

At the end of the day you get what you pay for!
But u wont find me giving cash to people with such a blatant disregard for the law, if they are so quick to break these rules where else do they cut corners!

In the words of Morrissey:
'I really dont know, and i really dont care'

they know who they are and what they are doing, nuff said, i wont waste my breath/key strokes even to hurl abuse at them.
