A - see the size of the extension required on that feed neck!
B - Still managed to chop almost half the balls released..

For the paintballs to meet eachother in the barrel, the velocity of the shots would need to very by 250fps.
No gun in the world has that bad concistency during rapid fire.
What I guess is happening is that the paint cannot stand being loaded at 30 odd bps (most tournament grade paint hits problems over 25bps) so the balls are being fractured as they are loaded.
The apparrent balls 'meeting eachother in the air' is just when a fractured ball is followed by a full one.
