Dunno what make they were (Cheap Spyder clone thing) but i came across several PLASTIC markers a few months back in a bundle of junk which came with a paintball site takeover.. They didn't work (no surprises) so i opened one up to have a look and found that inside the plastic body it had a PLASTIC SEAR! Cool invention huh? ;)

You hit it. Although now that you bring up the autococker... lol. Just kiddin, I've built and owned more than my share. Not afraid of any bitch slapping, just don't like arguing the same points and being talked down to simply because my opinion doesn't line up with that of a person who designs them and the people who would rather take somebody else's word for it than forumlate their own opinion. But there's no reason to flame or get off topic here.

Thought of another one by the way. I got one as a freebee with the purchase of my first marker (Tippmann Pro-Lite), the BE Tigershark. The cheapest piece of plastic I've ever seen in my life. I should have kept it, it probably would have been "agg" now

anyone that NOVA thing that was being advertised in PGI about 5 years ago? It looked like some sort of ray gun that should have been in star trek/wars or something!

Also I just been searching that vintagerex site and found this:

I'm sorry if you think I talk down to you.

As for other people. I am sure they are allowed to make their own opinions just like you do yourself.

Only they don't get quite so upset, about others opinions and when the facts are pointed out, as you do.

I'd love to get into a technical discussion about design points and issues with you/anyone, but I'm concerned that you are predetermined in your opinions, and would probably accuse me of being condescending again, so it wouldn't be a very open minded discussion, and I guess thus there is no point. :(

I have no problem discussing the shortcomings of the Intimidator guns and ways to improve them.

If you would like to start a discussion in the techroom and point out what you think are the design faults I'd be happy to discuss them. I know Bob and I are always looking for ways to make the gun better and to make more people want to buy one.

Arguing opinions is useless, arguing/discussing facts is a different thing.

Charlie, you are talking about the Nova, it worked with an articulating barrel system and was a very interesting functional design, but Mike Woods has a nightmare making anything visually pleasing. Everything Mike makes, has worked great, but looked aweful.

There are some absolute classic guns on vintagerex.

Man I loved the Golden Eagle when it first came out! I still remember the first time I shot one and the first game I played with one.

Heck I remember the first game I played with a semi, it was an autococker that would work for a game, not for the next, ad infinitum...

Anyone else remember the crank handle attachment they did to turn them into a gattling gun!!

Yup I remember them , never tried one but what a hoot!
and also how the Golden Eagle went full auto when it ran out of co2, it sounded mental!!:D

P.s
If simon says hes up for discussing the short comings of the timmy , take him up on it , hes a straight up dude.
Ive never played with one, but if the "man" can make it better with our help/ideas he bloody will!:D
