Worn head problem

I've got a set of Japanese phone 8 sided star keys for my old phone- they do a pretty good job on rounded allen key screws etc, sometimes .

The trade name for those being Torx drivers. Torx drivers are usually a bit bigger, and are great for turning out worn allen screws. All the above methods work too, I've used 'em all at one point or another.

right well the epoxy didnt work, I dont think theres enough contact area for it to bond properly.

I tried the flathear screwdriver idea, but it seems as if its totaly rounded, doesnt get a grip on any parts.

Center punch idea... it seems too small for that,

so ne other crazy ideas before I take it to a specalist?

I regularly remove the screws that hold the end plate on Angels with this method. The same screws that hold the eye covers on cockers.

unfortunately I dotn have a centerpunch, and people on the street dont either (not a sharp one anyways)

I was thinking, if I made 2 small gaps (somehow) either side, of it then a nromal flathead could slot in and do the job?

Just need ideas on how to get those 2 small gaps.

Easy outs are another oprtion..but...most people have a variety of screwdrivers, so you should be able to find one that you can bang in there...also...try turning the scredriver at teh same time as hitting it with something (a hammer..or substitute)..like an Impact driver.
Alternatively you could drill teh head off...

what would drilling the head off acomplish?

As for using a screwdriver / hammer ill give it a shot i guess.

If you use a drill bit, a touch larger than teh hole..you will drill off teh head, which means you can release the cover, then undo the stud with pliers
