Right just found out 16 digit friend codes need to be added on the wii main menu

Main menu>
Mail>
Contacts>
Add>
others>

Might be worth whipping that to the top to help save confusion

theres a difference between your main wii code and your wii friend code which is specific per game. The 16 digit one is to add someones wii, you need to go into the game and at the friends bit it will tell you your 12 digit friend code.
