Why Wont My Hopper Fit????

I always have the opposite problem,
My tube is wayyyyyy to big for the hole.

What you want for best results in this situation is a sizer made by Custom Products. It fits inside the hopper neck and snugs it up to the sides of your vert feed tube. It's not as cheap as a wrap of tape, but it's a lot neater and less messy and you only have to buy one once.
