Why is my halo being retarded?...or is it just me?

OMG!!! How messed up is this!!?
So I forgot that I had another halo in my bag, so I thought I'd dissasemble that one too just to be reaaally thorough and make sure I'm not completely crazy (as opposed to just a little).
So I took out the delrin cone from that one, then the spring cup and what do I find?? But the cup is different from the cups in the other two halos!!
As you can se in the pic, the other two cups I had were about 2mm taller meaning that the tab on the cone couldn't reach the tab in the cup and you couldn't screw the cone on properley!!
So I think I can get the stock cone installed now using this other spring cup, and just swap em all around to get them working. But what's the deal with the other two?? The only thing I can think of is that they came from an S4 kit or Shocketch kit perhaps, with a different cone that made use of the extra 2mm or they changed the stock design at some point??
