There isnt "A" set of rules. There are currently loads of different sets depending on which league and country you live in.

Is says rules or customs. Its just like there are slightly different versions of rugby(league and union) however many rules overlap for example in rugby you can score points by placing the rugby ball in the try zone of your opponent, in paintball (xball and 7man) you can score by hanging the flag in opponents start gate.

when i did a project on paintball in school paintball has been clased as a sport since 1981 and the first tourne was played in 1971 but u needid a gun lisence to have a paintball gun then and people were playing paintball against the law i think any way cos the project is in school so i dont remember

well i got the info from ask all u got to do is type in the history of paaintball and u get loads of stuff but what i was getting at was it is classed as a sport paintball that is

ps: i got a (B) cos the techer didnt have a clew about paintball but it was some thing like 30 pages
