I played against the Preds god knows how many times and in their time, they were one of the greats, the important thing to note is here, the phrase 'in their time'.
Nostalgia has no place in true comparisons I'm afraid and if you want the answer to this we have to create level playing fields.
First off, both teams are equipped with electros.
On Sup’ Air, Dynasty would wipe the floor with the Preds, every single game would be won…..very quickly.
In the woods is slightly harder to determine but Nick has already mentioned the most important factors that have to be considered.
Dynasty are so technically superior to the old Preds, that it would take just a few games for them to click into woodland mode, the same results would then follow after a few games Dynasty would dominate.
People have already talked about the Preds teamwork in this thread but it is nothing like Dynasty’s teamwork.
Dynasty work like a machine completely dominating teams, the Preds were just not even in the same league when it comes to this aspect of the comparison let alone the technical disparity they already face.
Nah, sorry guys, much as I would like to knee-jerk the Preds into supremacy over Dynasty, it would be nostalgia rather than reason if I did so.
Time moves on I'm afraid and this sport has evolved and now created professional sportsmen and not hobbyists as we all used to be in the time of the Preds.
