The North won coz the South allowed them to, after last years trashing.....

Seriously, it was a fantastic game. For those of you who did not get there this year, GET THERE NEXT YEAR. You missed out on a fantastic 6 hours in a paint filled enviroment, with our passion for paintball fueling us.

On behalf of the southern team, I would like to thank all the organisers, marshals & band runners who got the crap shot out of them for making it a gr8 day. My heart goes out to the rentals out there, you were up against some awsome firepower, but hopefully you now have the bug and you will be back next year with your own markers to aid your teams.


And Blakey, my prediction for next years speech from the South, " Better luck in 2005".......

Well done the North, vengance will be ours....

Well Done North...

Was a good day with the sunshine being great and having luck with the weather like last year.

I think we made some good moves on the field, as the game went from "base to base" to "side to side".

I am sooo sad to say the North won.... BUT boy did they deserve it.. much better team play all round... not that there weren't some fantastic plays from us Southerners but unfortunately too far between with too many of us standing round drinking tea and discussing our great moves onfield an hour ago.. ah well.. I can only say it must be because we won last year... nothing to prove etc etc.. grump.. PREPARE FOR the STEAMROLLER next year guys... WELL DONE!!!!! curses to that Northern drug baron el blakey... the sad

you are soooo right, 10 minutes to the end i was SCREAMING at the player wandering out to play, i told them they had no time and to get a move on, but no everyone just bimbled along like there was no particular thing they needed to be doing

to show the difference my brother in law was playing his first game and went out last thing with practically no paint just to draw the norths fire for a while

a lot we could learn from him

Looked at my back this morning.Just like to thank the northern players for my momento's of an attemted insertion at our 2nd entrance in the southern corridor. Turkey shoot is an understament if I ever heard one. What a grin. Thanks for a good day.
