Who was your...

LATHAM

FIGHTIN' MACHINE™
Second, but don't tell him (his ego is already the size of my manhood) is mister Chris Latham. That dude is my partner in crime and he taught me everything about being a killer - I started as a back guy.
Wait......What!?!

Did Al Woods just pay me a compliment!!!!

Had a few influences while playing.

Kelly's got us into this caper, so they will always have our love. Tony still has us round for a brew and can recount games from the 60's I think :D

Ledz was always a big influence as he showed me that the larger dudes can straight up ball.

Chris Edwards was always good to watch back in the day. Dude could break a game wide open with a cheaky run through.

And Al has always inspired me to be better than him....... Funnily enough this was always achievable :p

Mine 2 were probably Donnie who pretty much disappeared after his departure from Phoenix many years ago and I hate to say it but irons69 gave me a lot of his time when I starting out, except for that one uneventful evening in a hotel by the Phoenix Indoor when definatley nothing happened with the sadly late Jay Ford and the manliest looking woman in the bar.

Piper deserve a mention as well... nothings cooler than shooting from the hip.

my first was one of my best friends... He told my friend that he could make a good paintball player, so I made it my mission to be better than both of them.
Don't be afraid to name and shame buddy!

The person I owe getting into the game to is primarily Mike Stanton but also everyone else from Skirmish Bristol and team Recoil in Portishead in 2005/6 who gave me the first opportunity to play and a lot of help and guidance with gear and training.

Nowadays I owe it to Dave284 because being in a position to put him down a peg or two is all the incentive I need. Also to Andy B and the rest of the new Entity team for helping me break out of my shell.

You know what I remember that. It was me and Latham, the only game we lost. We had our Angels at the time. Good event, always loved Elsham.

Bart and Rafe Farmer got a group of us younger players together as a young guns team at Hook wood back in 1991. They were playing for demolition squad and spent a fair amount of time training us to marshal and play so that we could give the masters a go in 1992. Great times and great memories. More recently the guys and girls in Chimera that invited me to a training day when I got back into the sport after a 15 year break and then let me on the team. Everyone who attends CPPS and Northern Masters for making the places so friendly (I am sure other places are as good but these are he ones I go to). Anyone who has ever spent the time to help fix a strangers marker, lent someone a marker or just offered friendly advice - your the people that really make paintball great!
