course thats the beauty of building a true custom cocker, you can build it to your exact specifications!
Being that your in the US I would imagine you'd be looking between $800-$1000 as I said it purely depends what you want to go for, give G3 a look especially there AKA merlin milled bodies! www.g3pb.com

Get a DYE they are sooooooooooooooo sweet. Fast, great looking, light (there is a mini cocker version) and used by some of the best teams there are.

Just an idea

Hey Wee-man, did she get it from LPS? I was at their shop today and John was telling me a story about a girl who bought one of there darks and the kicked A$$ first thing Sunday morning....nice one. :D

WRT custom cockers, i currently run an EVO X it runs great, straight out of the box, it was setup just right and i've had no real problems.

HOWEVER, i am just raising funds myself to build a cocker from scratch partly because i want the satisfaction of playing with something that i have built myself. I think the main thing is to choose a body that you like and work from there, i'm probably getting a freeflow body kit myself.

As far as parts go, there are alot to choose from and many end up being just personal preference, but i reccommend you do a lot of digging and read loads of reviews etc.. on the bits your looking to get, check there're what you want. you might want to check some of the autococker related threads at either pbnation.com or paintballcity.com

Hope that helps, have fun building it, i know i will. :D

Ah... Custom cockers...

Like jynxfactor I started off with a stock mini from '94. Since then though it has had a load done to it. Basically, it got sent to Kieth Belsey and he had a very big play with it for a week.

When I got it back it had pretty much everything on it that the Evo X has (except for the 4-way and the in-line reg) minus the milling. I like it like that: Looking totally stock, but lovely to shoot and very consistant.

Since then, it's had a new in-line reg, but retains all of the parts that Belsales put on. I have not had to do a thing to it and it _still_ shoots superbly.

Off the top of my head, the whole lot cost me about 300 ukp, so it was a good buy.
