Personally I never had any problems with breathing through my Flex, even when it's hot. (Being in Holland that makes as much sense as a willy on a drumkit, but even here it does get warm sometimes I tell you!)

But of course every mask and wearer is different eh?

NZPPA rules don't allow you to flip up the front of your goggs (Considered bordering on modified mask). Based on Millennium or NPPL rules for mask mods, if refs got anal, could they say "You're not allowed to do that"?

Worse than chin shots are lip shots, which I took 2 of two weeks ago. Such was the only time that's ever happened to me and I was wearing a friend's Flex7 at the time with aforementioned crease and I won't ever again. It's just not fun tasting blood mixed with paint and shell and having to pull shell out of your lower lip.

On a slight change of subject, its not nice getting hit in the mask when the "bit at the front" is down nevermind up. Gotta be one of the most painful area to be hit, although a nut shot is always extremely painful (4 career nutshots, all in ONE game!!!!)
