pob was a classic t.v. series its so old it predates most of the shows that you young-uns can remember.
the format of the show was that pob would invite a guest to visit him ( by leaving a trail of wool for them to follow, the wool came from pobs unwinding jumper) as the guest got closer and further along the wool trail pob would leave puzzles for them to solve.
I know, by todays standards this seems a lame format but in them days it only had to contend with the likes of pidgeon street, lets pretend and the like.
you say monkey rulz but twenty years after pob went to air ppl remember him with an affectionate smile.
Tell me who will remember the monkey in twenty years when ITV's digital broadcasting is close to going down the pan?
