update, got incotnact with an ego tec. apparently It may be the mebrane in the QEV. gunna try that.

Can i suggest to avoid all these threads of ego, dm whatever problems we start creating a gun trouble shooting sticky to cover all those weird and wonderful breakdowns you get, starting with this one. expand on the little page of madness trouble shooting you get at the end of the book...something beyond "gun does not shoot...try inserting batteries"

we had a smiliar problem with an EGO6 last weekend where it fires the bolt and rammer but does appear to go far enough forward to hit the valve. It turned out to be worn o'rings on the rammer. If you have a lot of soot going thru the marker it may be worth changing them if you have spares

only need to do the front and back one...leave the middle one alone
