both since on the phone you can be assured that they have the stuff you want in the color you want and when you want...

and on the net you can surf it freely anytime and still get a pretty good idea of what they have and in what colors...only thing about the webservices are that when you mail the sales person/mailbox it sometimes takes ages for them to get back to you of course this is an issue that cant be helped since almost every webshops mail is cluttered with questions!

Thanks for the quick reply I'm thinking more in the actual ordering stages, phone and email will always be available just wondering if people in general like online ordering.

Personally still a bit dubious ordering online sometimes. Often find myself looking at things I'm after online and then ringing up and ordering.

This I only do when it comes to paintball gear though for some reason, not when I order things like DVDs' or games etc.

Think the reason I do it with paintball gear is that there are variables like colours, marker type (when ordering barrels etc) which I could incorrectly order if done online :) and like making sure it is the right stuff I've ordered to save me the hasstle of having to return it.

Over the phone, you never know what stuff they may throw in if you ask them nicely!
Also the carriage charges usually put me off ordering online - you can always phone them up and as for bits to be send 1st class etc.....

Online, IF the company's website doesn't stink, which I'm afraid to say covers a higher than average proportion of paintball dealers. If the site gives me a clear idea of whether an item is actually in stock, and doesn't automatically slap on 50% extra just for postage, then online it is. Many places though I resort to phoning after finding what I'm looking for on their site.
