Where's a good place for tournament practice?

All,

1) if this is in the wrong spot, let me know.

2) I'm a fairly experienced tournament player from the US that moved to the UK last year - I haven't played at all since hitting these shores (#@$!! career!) and I currently live in Essex. I'm finally able to commit some serious time to getting back into the game, but I need a good, serious field that supports tournament players and has several teams regularly playing/practicing.

Any ideas if there is a good field in my neighbourhood?

Cheers all.

Tourni Park Romford, Essex

Come and join the UK Marshal's Paintball Club that has it's own site in the Romford area called 'Tourni Park'. They've recently set up but are continuing to improve their site-they have two Sup' Air Ball fields and a 4500psi compressor. Team Zone and Monkey Love also turn up regualrly to train along side them. Within the Club itself it has 3 teams so there's always some one there to do some training with. Usually opening alternate Wednesdays and every Sunday except on Tournament dates.

I'll send you a PM with some contact details.

Hello Jon

Apparantly the compressor will do about 5500-6000 psi but thats it working at its max... so for safety and that fact thats its only ever practise going on down there... (and not to ware out the comprssor) 3000 psi is the set limit coz some people still have 3000psi bottles...

Well... I have 4 bottles, 2 45ci 4500 psi and 2 68ci 4500 psi, but a couple of them may need re-testing, since they've a couple of years old...

In the couple of hours I've looked around on the web for fields, I've noted that few run air - most are on CO2... great for kids playing around with Tippmans

I'm glad to hear there's a good field in Romford. I'm in Billericay, so it's handy!

thanks for the details.

DS,

Thanks, but I think I need a bunch of field time before I start team practices... I figure a couple of months of walk-on playing and getting back the moves is in order. I'm sure I'll see you out and around there.

I'm also thinking about putting a larger emphasis on coaching, since I did a fair amount of that in NJ.

Cheers!
