Starter guns? My god there is no end to the threads on that subject. Most people would say Tippmans or Spyders. Because they are relatively cheap, and Tippmans are almost indestructable. Others say if you want to go up a notch a 2nd hand cocker or mag. Though I would suggest the Mag, less things to go wrong. But with a cocker you can get millions and squllions of upgrades put on so you in theory could get a cocker thats a few years old and make it into a newbie scaring machine!

In the end its all up to your budget and what else you need (Pod pack/goggles/gloves/pads etc). Suggestion though, dont blow all your money on a marker otherwise you'll have to wait ages to play. Which I've done twice now

Nooney :- Whens the next Walk on at NPF? cos I plan on having bought everything but a gun pretty soon, Borrowing a gun for a day is exactly what I need, its a major investment even a "Cheap" marker is still expensive.

Heres a question, would I be able to use this marker in tourneys (im thinking ahead now, see the link below) as this is the one im thinking out buying soon but im not sure about it as its got as Full-Auto mode which I think is banned in the UK.

I was also thinking of investing in a Freak barrel for it from the outset, is that a good idea? and is it a good idea to get a few (like 3) inset bore sizes?

Noony : - Erm Pika came to talk to you on Sunday, don't know what about.

Impulse is great, still having a few teething problems trying to sort it out though. The Freak is great! Straight as ****ing darts all day!

Fubar :- It probably has a "tourny lock" mode which means you can lock it in Semi, and to take it off you have to take the grip off. So it would be allowed in tournies. As for having it over here, you can always use it, just wouldn't be legal.

The walk-on is next sunday (25th), im going down so if you want to use my spyder your more than welcome, its even got a freak barrel so you can also see that its not just hype the freak barrels are sh~t Hot! Thats got a gold insert, cant rememeber what size it is but ive used various paint in that!

Well I know if you have one you need a firearms liscense (sp?) So unless you have one all 3 would be illegal. To be honest I dont think anyone really cares, as long as you dont go around telling everyone you have f/a, and just keep it in semi. No ones the wiser.
