because they are great guns when they work
mine was such a fast gun and easy to shoot, but they can be temperamental and catch the 'shocker death syndrome' as we named it

as someone above said, they suit certain players better.
I find I get a better firing position with it, and it is way more accurate than my ego was (or has my aim just got better? )

they are easy to tech, fair enough an ego is just a case of wipe bolt clean and all done. All u hav do with shocker is re-grease rings after use and it never goes wrong. A 5 min job for keping your gat ripping is a small price to pay!! Super accurate and they never break paint!!!!!!!!! And the blackheart boards rock!!!! If anyone wants to try one, just ask any Kellys players knockin about for a go.. U will be very very impressed!!

must admit that id did hear the ealier ones had alot of leaking problems and that thing with the air cycle too but i also heard that it had been sorted out out. one of the guys in my old team used one for a tourney when his cocker went down - he was really impressed. it was light, accurate and easy as an
Amsterdam whore to get rippin. that said, he does use an Ego now.
