get an old shocker,
they're so freaking quiet, and very accurate!
and you can get one for cheap, cause no one wants them anymore.

Or if you want to go nu skool, a matrix is very accurate, low kick, very low sound signature, and insanly quick

in fact it's the choice weapon of paintball snipers as demonstrated by Jeremy Salm at World cup 2002

just remember if you have blonde hair, wear a freakin hat!

Excalibur with WAS board. . .put it in Sniper mode and hey presto bolt action stylee!

Pull trigger once, bolt opens and closes chambers the ball.

Pull trigger again fires the ball - closed bolt . . incredible quiet!!!

Repeat until paint is on target! :D

Fun to play mess around with in rec games, big games etc . . .tournament . . .not much use!!

But if trigger is walked . . can get decent speed if required! :D

I owned a flatline and sold the piece of shat.

If you ever break a ball in the flatline you are screwed. You might as well just walk off the field and go sit down while you take the next 20 minutes to clean out the barrel (if you can find a swab long enough and flexible enough to fit the damn thing). If there is any paint or shell left in the barrel after a break, it will cause more breaks and terrible inaccuracy.

Also, hitting someone with a ball at the end of the flatline's trajectory rarely results in a break (at least in my experience). It's frustrating as hell to be able to reach out with longer range and then have the ball bounce because it isn't moving with enough force to break the shell.

At a cost of $100+, the flatline is a waste of money in my humble opinion.

Jahlad...

In a wood game I hit a running target at aprox 50 feet away - with a single shot from a pump (Tippmann SL68-II)!! Most probably was a one-in-a-million shot but anyway... Those things aren't impossible... Though I agree 300ft seems a lot...
