Whats the best pack ?

L J

big big titties
i have had a 4+3 and a 5+4 hangar 18 packs, the 4+3 was spot on, the velcro was at least an inch over using fat boy 140's, never fell out, really comfortable etc,
then decided i needed a bigger one, so got a 5+4, used it for a tourny, still comfortablt, but with 9 pots in, it doesnt quite hold the pack to your body, thus, is moves about alot when your running, and if you run for long enough, actually falls off!!
so, try the 4+3 but, try the 5+4, it may have just been my pack!

hangar 18 packs....

being a big mid/back player having a pack that dont slip down when you carry 9 pots is difficult to find... hangar18 packs are the most comfy i have used and it dont slip at all... in fact the whole team uses them now.... we have had them all season and never had any probs at all... i sure if you have had a problem with them it a isolated one and if you speak to just paintball they will be happy to sort something for you....

If ya wanna try a extreme rage pack come see me at campaign and u can try one of ours, we should have a spare. The good thing with them is once you wrap em round ya they don't move.....13 or 3 pots, thin or fat waist, it makes no difference they dont budge an inch. :)

i would go for extream rage as they are the best (well to me they are) they move at all and i find where they are elasticated at the top all u have to do is pull the velcro and the pot shoots out into your hand.

i seen people use the jt paqs before and i think they are crap cause i seen people run to there barricade and the pots just slide out of the velcro loop and by the time thay r in there bunker thers only 1 pot left.

best thing to do i try them all out and then go for the one with the best comfort.

(extream rage)

Nice
I had a 4 pod horyzontal JT speed pack, and some tubes would fell out of it after a while because when the neoprene got squashed a few time, then some brands of pod would slide loose.

Then I had a Dye pack, very comfortable with the back cushion when standing still. But when loaded you'd better tight the waist belt very tight to compress the back cushion. Cause with this cushion, once loaded, the pods would bounce on your bum when you run.

Then I played with an Extreme Rage Battle pack. Simple in its design but very efficient with the overlapping double velcro belt. The strap "spring" loops will push the pods in your hand very quickly...

Very nice, my favourite so far.

Our three teams use this pack, so it is more than 21 players. I never hear any issue about the packs. And if nobody ever complain, at least it means it's totally fool proof!:p

I think what you will tend to find by posting such a thread is everybody promoting there own sponsors equipment. (fair enough)

For instance being sponsord by jacko means that you aint gonna suggest anything else are you. Same goes for those who are sponsored by hangar 18 etc....

My advice is that you should go to each manufacturer of pot packs, wether it be in a store, or on a trade stand, or even borrowing somebody elses pack and making your own mind up personally. Taking into concideration, price, comfort and practicality.

Hope this helps dude

Chris

p.s:- Personally i would go for the jacko pro series packs with x-loop From those lovely people at:-www.planeteclipse.com :D ;) :p
