What's the best method to attach a reg to a bottle

Screw in hand tight only and you will be fine.

Doesnt the pressure from the bottle when filled lock the threads anyways? I tried to take it of out of sheer morbid curiosity and couldnt.

Yeah the pressure seals it good and proper mate, can't see you being able to unscrew the bottle once theres any pressure in there
