What's the best mag?

Surly Robbo (im sure i cant be first to say this) if the demand is still there, then surly PGI can come back... i understand why it went... but it seems every mounth there is some mention of it...... so would it ever be possible to run PGI again~?

I'm afraid the harsh reality is, the magazine's survival had little to do with the number of people reading it as against the number of companies advertising in it.

This lack of industry money was what summoned the best mag in the world to the dead-box.
And it's getting worse out there, the financials are down 66% from five years back, the downturn has decimated our industry.
PGi won't be coming back from the dead-box I'm afraid, not this time :rolleyes:

what about an online version? or does that involve the same/similar financial problems?
We had an online derivative of PGi called Welt and it encapsulated the way things are going in terms of web media for the younger demographic but even that could not generate enough advertising to warrant the investment and expenses involved.
I think we had Welt running for five months or so and we launched it at probably the worst time in paintball financial history but we had no choice if we were going to try and salvage something.

We tried, we really did but you sometimes the tide is just too strong.
