Iv'e not been there now for about a year. The group i play with all started playing else where because the site was being left behind. The safe zone was turning into a muddy bog, (even on a dry day), there wasn't enough tables for everyone (especially in the safe area at the bunker end of the site. The playing arenas were falling to bits and were not being maintained, (boundary tapes missing etc), and not being upgraded/changed to make it different. But the biggest complaint that we had, was that the marshalls just wern't interested in the game, they were just hanging around waiting for the game to finish, not getting stuck in and checking people. Theres a lot of choice now within an hour or so drive from Manchester, so people are not going to put up with rubbish. I know that the site has been taken over since i last went but, there going to have to invest some brass to get people coming back.
