Nothing wrong with what they did with the PA Cup
Less teams meant more staff to do less work under less stress.
All I am saying is this is where the hard work begins.
This year the PA Cup was a novelty that attracted external attention. Next year it has to prove that the event is just a flash in the pan.
Let's be realistic here, credit where credit is due
2003 was a taster and nothing more
2004 is when 6e need prove themselves
and at the end of that year
the glory will justifiably theirs
I have faith

I for one think the pa cup was a great success and i wasn't even there. the hype that it raised before and after the event was great and it seems as though everyone who missed it now wishes they were there !!

There's talk now - (on the tourney forum) - of a new tournament series for 2004 which is going to be some kind of Paintball Association league - prize money, big sponsorship, big teams, etc, etc. Perhaps this is where the PA will prove itself rather than having to wait for the next PA cup next year !! Remember, the PA cup was organised by gillie and andy from the paintball association but it wasn't the first tourney they've done. Remember Storming the Castle?? I was actually at that tourney and it was an amazing tourney - apart from the frost ;) - in an amazing venue. There was a DVD made of the event, the safety netting was safe, some spectators came to watch, etc, etc. It isn't some coincidence that the PA cup went well - there are some good people working behind the scenes here - and it's only going to get better i'm sure.
