Anyone know the score with pbuk?
Are we just gonna miss a month, or they gonna get 2 issues out in 1 month?
Its October and still waiting for the sept issue, kinda curious as all they release on the site is "coming soon"

Any dates or info guys?

I spoke to Gillie yesterday about Star Wars but asked about the PBUK, I am told last months is coming in the next couple of days and this months is nearly finished to go to the printers - they have had problems but are trying to get back on track.

So it landed on the mat and it is as expected
So now I'm waiting for the the mag that would of been out if the PA Cup had not been run.
Nice oppurtunity to catch up that month we missed, by issuing the Special PA Cup issue, then put the rest of the info in the catch up issue.
Nothing against this issue, the PACup was a success, but I believe next year will be the make or break of it.
All this talk about they were prepared for 60 teams is all well and good but there was no where near 60 teams there so things ran exceptionally well. Next year there should be more than 60 teams there including the Huddersfield/ Kirklees team and when the event is over then all this years work will be vindicated. So roll on Oct next year, when I hope I will be part of the future.

An entire magazine of relevant stuff.................. caused me problems as I consider reading overtime :)
I'm a lot more used to rapidly scanning and picking out what's funny/attractive/painful to someone else actualy reading whole pages is something of a novelty for me.
I can read fhm etc in about 3 minutes......... they really need to stop putting in articles as they detract from the advertising :rolleyes:

Gearing up for the PA 2004 now.

New squad, new world order :)

They prepared for 60 and didn't get that many? look at it another way.......... if you can still run a massively impressive event when only 20% of the numbers show up................that's organisational skill. A lot of organisers would have cancelled..... but no, they did a massive amount to promote our sport and took a huge shot in the wallet.....for our benefit. National news, ass shooting Jonathan Ross......... anyone else ever come close?

We should be grateful we've got a group who are organising things for a love of the sport. Imagine how good the country would be if we were run by people who's main aim was to make things better? They could sit back, publish the mag, expand their site and rake in the cash...........but hell no.
Big up to 6e. And roll on 2004, I'm one step closer to being a sportsman rather than a military freak in the eyes of my workmates. All down to 6e........ our team appeared in the local paper and everyone saw wossy take one in the khyber.
