Do what I did in toulouse :)

I saw a player walking from the chrony range with one in his hand and he was smaller than me! So I jumped on him and "escorted" him back to the chrony to try it out :)

Facts:

-OPEN BOLT

- 16bps so far without the eye, they say it will be more with Vision.(someone explain why puhleeze as I have a hard time believing this!!)

- No kick

- Tiiiineyy really really tiny! Actually so tiny that with the 45 Grip its really uncomfortable.

- Price with vision-air-freak according to the SP reps in Toulouse is 1500-ish euros! (wich is a LOT)

- The eye is routed OUTSIDE contrary what they said earlier and will be the usual vision setup (reflects from ball)

Peace
Oh and the blue anno is thin like a beggars budget!

hmmmm that don't sound like anything amazing!

As for why it should be quicker with the Eye is that the eye will control the pnuematics to allow it be set at Max ROF and they let the eye system to work out whether it can fire or not.

So just a reflecting eye .. .. nothing great.

Sounds like a replacement for Impy if you ask me!

Oh well let wait and see if anything ground breaking comes out with the Nerve. . .whenever that comes out!

The problem is with the "controls the pneumatics" explanation is that the eye/board HAS to distinguish between the ball and the bolt. And I think noone has anything like that working. So to sum it up I smell bull**** from SP :)

Oh and they say it has a LOT of o-rings!! DOW33 here we come :)

Had a rip on one on Saturday at SP. Loved the size and weight (felt about half the weight of my Toxic (seriously this is one small and lite marker). Although size is always a personal thing, but in going right to left handed I found it was just as fast (whether this is possible when fully finished with Vision & trigger job I don't know).

As too speed, I could'nt get it as quick as my I-framed Toxic, but probably with trigger fiddling and Vision, I would expect higher ROFs.

On the down side the colour is sooooooo last year, (so re-anno'ing is a must). And it is acceserized by a nasty black AA back!!!! Needs a little more work in the bling department.

Overall I liked the size and weight, would get one as a back-up, or if I was playing upfront.
