Sounds like a silly question I know, but just been on the phone to air products and they can supply me with the following:

Breathing Air
Breathing Oxygen (Not for Medical Use)
Diving Oxygen
Oxygen industrial Grade
Food Grade Oxygen
Compressed air (Not for breathing)

Here’s the full list

So which one do i need? ?

breathing air, if you go for oxygen you're wasting your money
And your bottle isn't rated for O2, it should be rated for N2 (nitrogen) and compressed air (78% nitrogen), plus id you have leaking oxygen near a naked flame/ignition source - BOOOM:eek:

Breathing air would be best, as above its well filtered and its what the dive shop fill my tank with!

Medical grade nitrogen, or breathing air only. Anything not breathing or medical grade may be dirty or have too much moisture which isn't good for high pressure air equipment; anything else like oxygen-enriched air or, even worse, pure oxygen, is potentially dangerous.

There was a case a few years ago involving a large explosion in a shipyard. Turns out that one of the workmen had been plumbing his air tools into the oxygen line (for acetylene welding.), even though the two lines had different threads - the resourceful soul, on finding his tool didn't fit, had cobbled together an adapter from several fittings which allowed his air line to fit the oxygen feed. Result: large bang and several dead people. So: nitrogen ok, air ok, oxygen BAD.

Is there anywhere you can actually get your tank filled with nitrogen to 4000+ psi?

Only technical dive shops would have nitorgen and most wouldn't sell a single tri mix gas on its own to an unqualified person.

Stick with air mate, easier to get and cheaper.
