here we are trying to convince the world that we are mature enough to play with projectile shooting guns but we can't even stay civilized amongts each other...

To be Honest, Well I've played both. I offen find that the reason that supair people hate wood ball is because they can't just lay paint in order to win.

Anyway back to the original question!!! If you play in the woods, get an A5, you can't go wrong.

just because someone is in the woods doesnt meen they want to be a soldier infact the last couple of walkons i have been to only seen about 4 people out of about 70 rest just wanted to shoot people

its nice to play on many varied fields in one day including speedball setups of various types

same as a day playing tourny type ball would be fun

i play all sorts..sup air..woods or just straight up garden fence painting....i run a brightly coloured 'tourney' style ion as does another of my friends...we both go on field in dye c6 playing gear in either a red or blue colouring and we dont care...paintball is just that..paintball...be it woods ball...sup air or even indoor velcro ball...we all get off on the same thing, and that is giving someone a pornstar style facial with a good old paintball...so peace to all..and lets face it..we all need to just get along and make paintball the biggest damned game in the world...

There seems to be allot of animosity in paintball between sup-air/Tourney players and Rec/Scenario/Woods Players. It seems most of this is coming from the sup-air/tourney side.

Seems to me probably 90%+ of these people probably Played their first ever games in the woods, and at the end of the day there must have been something they enjoyed about that experience, for them to come back for more.

I figure live and let live, without woodsball, Sup-air and over forms of paintball just wouldn't exist.

Ps: My first marker was an Automag .68 pro classic, I found it quick for a mech, accurate, and reliable as hell. If woodsballs your game. I'd recomend one.

it just pisses me off that people have to resort to slagging each other off.. after all.. dont we all shoot paint at people??
i like both sides of paintball equally, but in my observation.. its almost always the tournay player that starts the slagging matches off.. and its usually in a question about scenario kit ect..

its not good for the sport, as people often start with woodsball, in fact, woodsball accounts for the vast majority of the paintball market...
All this bad attitude cant be a good thing for helping people cross over..

my m8s who woodsball dont want to get involved with tourney as i took em to a sup air walk on once (a long time ago), one of em had an A5, and some twats were takin the piss outa him.. Also.. when they see bad mouthin on forums n stuff and people takin the p*ss outa woodsballers, it dont really make them feel that welcome..

Admitedly.. everyone must have been having a bad day! as it was the worst walk on i have ever been too, just pure bad luck! but you know the saying.. first impressions last..

Trying to be constructive now . . . i personaly enjoy playing woodsball and think its a geat laugh. I also enjoy supair it if you tink about it . . . .

I like to think i'm in the SAS when i play woodsball, though i was james bond once and was running round our home site with a pistol (paintball type ).

With tourney ball its a very different type of game but just think about it? playing on a large field of bouncey castles a non paintballer would look at both an go what the hell is that guy trying to do to that bunker? where as they can understand woodsball.

This hasn't been directed at anyone (except that first bit ) just another way of thinking about it.

Equinox baby ...Woodsballers complaining on forums would require skill's other than those needed for strapping on webbing ...you know, reading and writing for example and we all know that fast thinking isnt the scenario players forte so that aint gonna happen.
