in the meantime, while waiting for the Eclipse SHaft2 to come out.
its the stock barrel on the 07 ego and is absolutely mint. Love it.

I've got a 0.690 and 0.693 barrel. o.684 are only any use for reballing

ok lads,

I managed to get me a .692dye ultralite havnt tried it yet. I got another stiffi barrel on the way hopefully .689. The question i need to ask is what size is the stock ego barrel?

checkin on the paintfit just looking thought it you understand against the light there is very little difference between the dye and standard ego barrel.

If anyone out there know what the barrel size is on an ego 06 please let me know

hi all just to update ,

ego standard barrel is .693 even the new ego 07 barrels are the same according to the ego tech i have just spoken to. He also said not to waste my time getting any other barrels kits etc as the performance increase is not that good and in some cases a back ward step.

Anyone think i have done the right thing?

i think i have just wasted some money.

no you havent wasted your money, as not all paintballs are the same shape and size, low grade paintballs tend to be on the large size whilst tournament paintballs tend to be of a smaller size, so matching your paint to barrel size is a good thing, so its best to have a couple of different size backs, (not loads) just a small and maybe a large back, creates better accurracy and air consumption in my opinion
