When I order a bunch of cider from County Armagh, and the courier says they 'tried' to deliver it twice when I've been home all day for 2 straight days, and then they say they "have arranged with the consignee to deliver at a later date" No...no I didn't agree to that, gimmie my cider you rat *******s.
I live in a flat in a converted house. Royal Mail know this, yet still they insist on only ringing the ground floor buzzer when there's a package. I have to constantly watch when something is due.
