They rely soley on contractors unlike RAC/AA so their response times can be quicker as garages will give them preference, but they don't do so many roadside fixes, more likely a tow to a garage. When I was looking around RAC were cheapest, £40 for roadside/homestart which seemed pretty good. :)

Just to give some balance aswell though, a girl at work was left for 3 hours at the roadside with her 8-month pregnant sister by the RAC, it was a kindly AA patrolman who towed them to a service station so they could get drinks etc. And we both work for RAC :rolleyes:

For GreenFlag it's £84 a year

* Roadside assistance
* Local vehicle recovery
* No callout charges
* Message service
* Long distance vehicle recovery

Which is all I need really... I think...

i'm with the aa roadside relay, costs about 80 odd quid and been with em for years but never had to use em, trouble is if i left you know for sure the car'd break down!
anyway to make this post have a point, me dad's got the same and he's used it a few times with no problems at all, last week he managed to lock himself out of his van and they turned up in less than half an hour:)
