Point taken, I was being a bit pretentious there. What I described above about finding a conception of god that suits you is what I subscribe to, I don't ask people to agree with it, mainly because I don't really have a definition. I think of it kinda like the "flow of the universe" or something. I'm either dancing in time with it or I'm not. When I try to put a square peg in a round hole I know I'm going against the flow. It works for me. It certainly requires an amount of faith, which you've argued against, but I figure there's nothing wrong with experimentation, and if you discover something that works, use it. How does that sit with you?
