What is the best size barrel for Tournament play

Im looking to play tournament ball. I am also in the market in buy an Ion. And need to know a good siz barrel. I have asked different people this question and need a more wide spread response.

if you are talking bore sizes. i swear by my .695 all the time.

so if you get a .692 and .695 you'd be able to shoot practically any paint.

get the bore size right for the paint and the length shouldn't matter, I suppose the length depends on how you play

I've got a .689 16" boomstick which works nicely with the paint we're shooting atm. Other than that, i have 12" Freak. Get the bore size right and it's very accurate. The longer barrels let you push the barricade a bit more when playing superair, so you present a smaller target. The shorter barrels are better in woodland, as they don't catch on as many obstacles
