Read one or two of tha reviews and to be honest half-way down I coulda sworn I was reading Ravi in PGI - very similar style, layout and approach.
The shoot/range/consistency stuff is interesting, but it's still unreliable IMHO. If I was a manufacturer I'd wanna know exactly what paint was being used, and if my gun suffered by comparison to another and it was down to a different brand of paint, hell, even a different batch or case of tha same brand, I'd be pissed.
Fact is, paint is inconsistent, and if you're not testing guns using the same paint from tha same box, you ain't gonna get a reliable test. And given that guns are tested over a period of months and the copy stays alive and accessible for years, that's impossible.
It is interesting for the tech-heads, no doubt, but I for one wouldn't wanna run that sorta stuff in PGI if I was the publisher.
