Only reason why everyone is so pissed is because its the money the govo grabs out of our pockets. If this was a big company and the employees spending money the company had made, everyone would be shocked at what went on and it would fade away in no time..

The guys who claim for this money made up the rules, that was the first mistake..
second home allowance has got to be the biggest jip and the guys buying a house 5 minutes away from their first in central london next door to work..

The whole outrage is claiming money to pay the morgage on their second home, once this is done they claim that they now live in that house and claim a morgage on their first home. If it were anyother bussiness you'd expect them to be fired and charged with fraud, but they appologise and say they'll pay it back ( probably make up some other bull**** claim and get their money back that way )

anyone of them claiming for anything not legit should be sacked, and then scrap the system and make the mp's live like normal people. . .

Gotta love Cameron though, first hes saying its all browns fault hes soo much better, then when his party is shown up hes saying hes all sorry for all the conserv's. Then back to blaming brown.. what a ****

Im not mad they abused the system, if you could you blatently would. Just hope they all get treated the same as us...

£5k is a bit much for a phone bill, what does he use carrier peigeon ?

Yes, all fine and dandy, but still no answer as to why you are so surprised, given what people have been saying about politicians for ages.

Pretty happy to say both MPs for Reading don't claim for a second home but the expenses are still pretty high, both well over 130k

See the goverment should have been clever and just said mp's are allowed to claim up to £180,000 in expensive each year and then no1 would have been upset :)

I suppose if they use it on reasonably then it could be justified but sadly they don't go into as much detail as how long he spent talking to the wife :p
