My personal list of requirements for my players is based upon the holy quartet of :-

Talent
Commitment
Humility (willingness to learn)
Athleticism

You give me that lot, and I'll give you Pro NPPL, Pro Millennium and so much more ........

Not really, if you look at my team, very few of us have money;)

look at the team you play for though you got good sponsers i guess you balls are cheap too shoot and i guess you team has good training facilities.

look at lower teams do they get the same type sponsors? do they get paint deals like you do they get training facilities?? remember nothing is free these days unless you are good and play for a good team.

I don't understand what your point is? WHat does that have to do with the issues raised in this thread?

But you have to ask yourself, why should teams that are lower down get stuff for free? Sponsor's dont give you stuff for the good of their health, it has to be a two way thing. You have to be good enough that people think "damn, they're good, I want to be like them" and buy the same kit as you.

Unfortunately, there probably are some very talented players that are held back by the financial strain of taking 'ball more seriously.

dude everyone starts someone, generally people have to work their way up and earn what they get. Its not given to you on a plate.

As the saying goes "you get what you give"

Lost - i have no idea what you are talking about mate.

From a personal point of view, my life for the last 4 years has been paintball, just like that of my team mates, just like that of Nexus and Tigers. I have poured every penny I have over the last 3 years into playing for Shockwave, it has meant I cant do lots of things that my friends outside of paintball do. That kind of commitment is common across Shock, Nexus and Tigers.
