I just got a 2002 second hand dye reflex, and the gun rips, but i do think softer springs are in order.........the trigger pull is a tad stiffer than desired due to a relatively hard stock main spring, which is necessary coz of the relatively hard valve spring. Very nice action, and angle on the trigger though, much preffered to the WGP hinge trigger.
Some people say the pmp 3way can be abit problematic (leaky n stuff) but as of yet, i have had no such problems, and its a great, solid, rugged 3 way.
It is harder to get an after-market bolt for the reflex because of dye's clever twist release bolt, which does away with the bolt pin, and holes for it in the P-block. but then, the stock bolt works fine, so why would you want to.
Upgrades to this already wicked marker?
Im looking at a maddman Rocket valve, Rex Nelspot VA kit, and a spring kit to soften up that valve spring, hence, trigger pull, whilst keeping the pressure nice n low.
Oh, the milling and anodizing is sweeeeeet (grey dust)
