Ive never really thought a great deal of "fun games" or "initiations" of that ilk.
Did you find it funny? I assume you didnt volunteer, in which case thats fine.
I once went to do some work at a house that was being refurbished, and being a youngster, I was "initiated", by being stripped to my boxers, and launched out of a ground floor window into a skip, with a mattress in.
Of course, it "was only a joke", and my new collegues all thought it was wonderful fun.
But, I couldnt understand why they were so upset, when I Nitromorsed their cars.
On Topic...Duno about NZ, but, would that not be illegal over here, being as its a Public Place?
Do you honestly think, that a group of pricks like that...would even know what a Chronograph was..let alone use one!!!?

.. o dear, after looking at the poor girl, people are going to see this and think "paintball should be banned" but if I had bruising like that, It would be my chat up line 
Bit off topic here, but I'm waiting for some one to sue some one on the field, for assult ( if it hasnt alread been done already). I recon in about 10 years you will have to sign dissclaimers before every game.

In the UK we are currently pretty safe from being sued for merely shooting someone as we technically "consent" to a certain amount of physical contact when we partake in the sport. Of course with things like bonus balling etc. it could be argued that we don't consent to that much contact and therfore could possibly sue if we were damaged...
