Possible

Heres one, why not collate all the Rules from the different Events.

You could have PA League, Millenium, S2K4, etc etc etc

Get Rulebook Russ to clarify the rules on Bounce, Testingof Hot markers again etc etc.

May be get Hatts to help on the shooting out of Bounds rule :D

I know I would appreciate an Up-to Date online rulebook for all the Events.

good info for anyone looking to get into the sport.

Good point Toma, an idiots (or Irsish guide ;)) would be ideal for people who aint to sure of the rules etc.
Would answer alot of questions that either new players had or indeed spectators.
Things like the rules of the game, style s of play or sumthin anything just so that we dont have these people watchin and don t kno wots happnin.

I've had a word with my teacher about this, and he thinks that this should come out as a good project. Now, he believes that a beginners guide would be better, as it should keep things simpler and more useful. I suggested a "Dummies Guide to Watching Speedball", as an idea to increase pulic interest but he's steering me towards something that explains how to actually play, as thats more interesting :)

So, what would you think if I were to make a booklet or pamphlet that could be given to people who were interested in taking up tournament play? My thinking is that if it were made simple enough, it could be distributed at punter sites to interested players or tournaments to spectators, have details about tournaments, a jargon guide and advice on getting started, as well as other juicy tidbits :D

hi Jon

I like your idea for an idiots guide, however the advantage of producing an artefact for an existing company is you get the knowledge of all there previous campaing and promotional mix, get to find out what there target audience is and also any research they have done on affective advertising etc, what resaerch they did before they decided to communcate in that way.
Anyway was just a thought, good luck!!! And dont leave it all to the last minute cos it's a bithc to catch up!!:D  :p
