i have had most types m8 DYE JT JJ EMPIRE SHARFT FREAK
at the mo i use a freak with stainless steal insert,s no problom,s what so ever
but when i had my nexus cocker i used the sharft no worry,s
at the end of the day m8 it is down to you and what you want
i say one thing someone else says another

Racegun barrel system - has to be the best barrel system i have ever owned, this thing is the nuts
very limited amount of these things out, hard to get hold off
jsut so happens i miight be selling a set

Freaks - Not that good
Pipe - Alright
Racegun - A1
Any more comments, any thoughts on the Racegun? only had one person comment on this one

you heard about the scepter barrel kit? it uses inserts like the freak, heard its an amazing barrel, pm "The Don" for some info, sure he can help he was getting boners over it lmao!

as far as i kno the only peeps with them in the UK is me and the monkey love lot
seriously awesome barrel kit, has to be said!
got inserts that screw into the back, left hand thread and use a tool to tighten
ill get a pic of the barrel in its box sometime 2moz
sorry? are you using "freak" and "well made" in the same sentance?If they were well made and well thought out they would have used a left handed thread to screw the front into the back so it was self tightening rather than having to dismantle the barrel to get the back off the gun when it locks.........everyone that has a freak kit has a little implement in their kit bag to unlock the backs, don't you !
Lets be honest, they're not that good !
1 - the backs lock in the gun !
2 - is an insert sitting on two thin o rings the best way to align things?
3 - why does the back o ring always pinch?
4 - Try and clean one quickly out on the field ! yeah right !

I believe the Race Barrel kits are actually a rebadged SM1 from Sanchez Machine. I remember being very impressed with the system when I saw it on the Monkey Love half block.
If you like spending money then take a look at the Poison Arrow system- heavy and expensive but developing a real underground reputation amongst rich folks.
For insert barrels take a look at the Powerlyte Scepter, another barrel loved by all that lay hands on one.
Personally, I use a .689 ultralite for just about everything.
