What Barrels

Ok I wanna buy a new barrel kit, not sure Pipe, Freak or something else?

What do you all think?

If you have tried these, give me your honest thoughts (and before anyone comments on me, i'm talkin about Barrels)

Oh and I have an Ego and I want the option of different bore sizes.

Planet now doing the Shaft in 3 sizes 686, 689 ,693 , 2 piece 14inch & 16 inch annoed to match whatever ego you have

Beware!!

The planet cocker threads do not always fit other cockers. I bought an eclipse set like mentioned above, and it doesn't fit on my evo. Caused me loads of problems cos of it, so try before you buy if you can!!

Should be fine with an ego, I guess.

Freaks are seriously overated in my opinion, if you need different sizes then go for something that doesn't use inserts !

I also have an Ego and im using a 16 inch Shaft with a 693 back and as the Ego has two ball dents ive been told you dont rearly need any other size cos the balls dont roll out. But if you do go for another barrol dont use a Freak ive also got a freak set and have had better results from the shaft hope that helps. Ghandi

The balls dont roll out of any gun, unless its some really ancient design that people feel the need to throw money at and cling to for no real reason...

got a mate with a shocker 4x4 with no detents, you can guess what happens if he holds it too low, lol!

Try a Pipe kit, very good...easy to shoot through etc. Cant really say about many others...Ultalights are good..Freaks are not so good.

hey lets face it the pipe is the best yeah by far but they have to pay royalties to the freak. but get the freak. u can have more then one gun and just have the freak back for the other gun. i have 2 guns and i use a freak front for both. and i keep the backs on the guns.

get a freak.

i have even though i hate smart parts.

u just have to hold ure hand up when something is well made and well thought out.
