The revo IS the hopper! V12... revo....? (teehee!)

Shocktech springs are pretty effective, I'm using a red spring, cos it's freezing cold over here and I'm using Co2, but the kits should be a mere $15 if that?!

Glad you like the barrell, wait till you shoot it!

If you're on MSN this could be easier! lol:D

hey just looking on the Xpainball sight and i saw this thing called a smoke stack! pretty much it'a metal feed tube instead of a plastic one! it won't break and it allows more balls to be fed quicker? do you think it would be a good idea to go with this?

The smoke stack is a replacement for the plastic feed neck (that snaps easy). The J&J ceramic is a barrel.
I would surgest that you get a shorter feed neck for the marker. It lowers your profile makeing it harder to hit you. Planet do one that I have been using, & I have found it quite good.

I second the J&J ceramic barrel choice, real value for money. I also use a 32 degree Nyte stick which is also one of the better aftermarket barrels for the spyder in my opinion.

hey i think i'm gonna stick with the teardrop barell but if i don't like it i'll go for the JJ ceramic! so don't go with the smokestack? but i don't want plastic cause plastic is so easy to break and with the smoke stack it allows more balls to move faster so you can have more balls with less chance of chop. so what do you suggest? go with the smokestack or no? cause i went to that site and thats over in europe i live in Minnesota so i can't really get anything off of that. but what certain feed are you using cause i'll try to find it over here!

I am using the Java feed neck. I was going to buy one from Ebay and import it (from the US), then Planet got them. It is made from metal, has a grub screw in the side and should be indistructable.
Have a look on ebay, if I remember right the one I was looking at was about $15 + S&H.

You could be correct, I might be thinking of something else. I thought a smoke stack was a longerfeed neck.
UK & US seams to be devided by a common language.

Gents, If you're using a revo or any other feeder for your Spyder can I recommend RAISING you smoke stack slightly?

This may not effect your play, but will cause less jaming and breaking and the benfit of faster strings of fire without risk of a break.

The theory behind it is that there are already balls waiting past the hopper feeder so they can be added to the amount your feeder/hopper can feed. God this is hard to explain...

ie: if your revo can load 13 a second, and you already have 4 balls in your stack, you have the potential (if your finger is quick enough) to unload 17bps on someone..that's not too bad eh?

Only if your makers fast enough though, if not, yeah I would shorten it and worry about a nice new squeegie!
