What barrel?

Ok, I am selling my freak as I did not get on very well with it. I already have a boomy and AA but I am thinking of either a JT barrel, a new Dye barrel (boomy or ultralite) or a CP pro barrel kit that Planet are selling (I think it is anyway). So I was just wondering what barrel is the best.

Barrels of America (www.barrelsofamerica.com). I prefer the 12" Snakebit. One piece with little porting is the only wat to go.

pieman what u talking about you must be the only one to have a problem with a freak or could it be you are not checking the paint size propperly

Yeah....I got the match right but sometimes in one bore I had tight, stick nicely, fall halfway through and drop straight through. All in the space of ten balls. I only used it twice and it just did not seem to make any difference and sometimes burst paint more. Also the concentricity was nowhere near good between the bore insert and the front. So I decided that I would be better off selling it and get a cheaper barrel. At the moment I am looking at the OTP barrel which is the original style freak idea

which is considerably less than I am selling my freak for. So I will still have a sort of freak but not an actual freak. Either that or a JT barrel.

Just my 2 cents worth, but don't count the ultralite out. I just started using one, and I have had nothing but great results out of it. Something to consider. I will be at the Angel Cup on the 16th in Nottingham and will be happy to let you have a go with it if you are there and haven't decided on a barrel by then.

Thanks for the offer Chip. Unfortunately due to exams I will not be able to join my team in Nottingham so I am trying to guest for a team at the Temple 2 Day the week after. Will you guys be playing that as well? I had heard some good things about the ultralite and I may end up getting the OTP and then another barrel after that when I have started work again, maybe a Dye or the JT. Only problem with the Dye's is that they are expensive compared to the JT (not much I know, but to a poor soon to be student with a large debt every penny counts), besides I have had Dye's before and I would like to try something new to see if they are better.

They own, i use one on my shocker and if my gun ever dies, i just need to unscrew it, run up and slap them on the back of the head with the super heavy barrel

But yeah, its a good, accurate barrel
