most 2 part barrels are 12 or 14", having the ball going straighter for longer increases accuracy is all im saying, to take it to the extreme of my example, if you had a 20 foot barrel that would end 2 feet in front of your target, you would get almost pin-point accuracy. Same just in a much smaller way (obviously )

sorry dont mean to argue now slightly confused myself :L

The point being when you match the ball to the bore of the barrel that is what gives it the accuracy, hense when you overbore your accuracy decreases.

The point on this is, when you choose a 2 peice, the first 6 inches are matched to the paint, but then the other 6-10 inches are not.

So by your logic, if I take a perfectly matched paint to 10 inch barrel, then upgrade it to a none matched 18 inch barrel, the 18 incher will be more accurate just because its longer?

Please dont tell me you think this.

no of course not paint bore size match makes the bigger difference by far.

Still though a perfectly matched 18" barrel will be more accurate than a perfectly matched 10" barrel.

Lets call it a day now i hate falling out with people on here want to make friends :D

(and also poor breezy must be wondering what the hells going on lol)

A 16 inch Barrel will fire alot further than a 10 inch barrel.... a whole 6 inches :)

Its just down to personal pref. Do you like short barrels or long? Cause if the bore is matched correctly, there isn't any diff in accuracy or distance or flight arch or travel.

As for stock barrels being 99% of the time not very good, well, the DM9 uses the Ultralight barrel.... i'd like to see that improved on.
