what barrel thread does the soveriegn II take?

The Sov II, at least the ones that I have seen, take their own specific threading but come with an adapter for Spyder threads. If I recall correctly you can get Sovereign barrels made by DYE and BOA so that the sleeve isn't needed at all, and those are excellent barrels anyway so that would be what I would do.

The Sovereign II uses inferno threads. If you wanna buy a new barrel then dye and smartparts both make barrels in this thread.
P.S. This is not the same as the spyder thread.

Inferno and Spyder threads are different Tom, ya wee bunker monkey!
Some Inferno's (mostly the ones destined for the usa market) are now made with spyder threads due to the after-market barrel thing they got going on.
So, inferno threads are different to spyder threads, but some inferno's have sypder threads. I could tell you how to tell the difference*, but that's just boring!
*and yes, there is a method other than just screwing in a barrel to see if it fits!
Oh yeah, and Chris ya fool - knew it wouldn't take you long to get back into the "wheeling-and-dealing" markers game
Have you seen on the racegun forums, in the pictures board, a Sov 2 with a racegrip attached, you know you want one!
